Peter Pan
Outfit: coat: gift from my mommy/gloves: local antique shop/strand of pearls: gift from my grandma
So this may be about three months late, but this photo was taken in front of Orange County Performing Arts Center when my dear Grammy took me to see the play Peter Pan! It was a complete feast for the eyes (360 degree screen above the roundabout theatre was used as the set) and the prop designer must have been so creative! For example, the crocodile was made out of pajamas and hangers, and when the lost boys build Wendy's house, they use toys! I do feel that the acting was a bit over-the-top, and that it was kind-of weird that they used guys in their mid twenties to play ten-year-olds, but maybe there's reasons behind this (benefit of the doubt, right?). But another thing that I did like was that they branched away from the traditional, like having an actual person play Tinkerbell (usually a small light is used to represent her) and not having a woman play Peter (isn't that revolutionary!). In case I'm making you curios, I've posted photos I found of the play!
